what is “royalty free music”?

“royalty free music” means that creators can purchase a license for a music track, pay once, and never have to pay additional royalties to continue to use the music.

ℹ️ note: ‘public performance’ royalties are still owed to the composer of the track every time the music is performed publicly (television, radio, etc.). however, you or your client generally do not have to pay these specific royalties, since they are paid by the network broadcasting the music.

check out the Wikipedia article on royalty free music for more info.

yes! you can use my music in your non-commercial projects for free. as a thank you, please put my name and link (copy paste from text under “how do I credit you in my video or project?”) in the credits.

can I add lyrics to your songs?

you can only add lyrics to my hip-hop instrumental tracks.
if the track is NOT a hip-hop instrumental, adding lyrics and/or redistribution is prohibited.

why do you only use lowercase letters, are you mad?

glad you asked! it’s because:

  1. this music is made to assist your project, so by using lowercase letters there is more room for your media to flourish.
  2. as a way for me to get rid of perfectionist habits. 🙂
